During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to blackouts in extensive areas of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while inhabitants in eastern districts were left without electricity and dealt with problems to drinking water, per reports from municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Russian forces has intensified attacks on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while officials has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to increase pressure on Russia.

"What is required is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the United States, the EU and the G7 - in delivering protection systems and enforcing sanctions," was stated in a social media post.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 missiles attacked energy facilities, characterizing such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as temperatures become colder.

Energy officials said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles struck power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the attacks on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Local officials said the urban area came under significant strikes throughout the evening. A minor was killed and multiple civilians were wounded.

The assaults come after evenings of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.

All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to detect.

National leaders told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to destroy the country's energy grid, with attacks already affecting gas facilities.

He said utility staff and government agencies were anticipating more assaults.
